Compact Enclosed Sparge and Vent Systems

In the past decade air venting and air sparging have been developed into an important technology for the remediation of soils contaminated by volatile organic compounds (VOC). Air sparging is an aeration process in which volatilizing air is injected into the saturated zone beneath the water table. Soil venting is used to recover the vapor laden air as it exits the water table. Appropriate use of air sparging may require that it be combined with other remedial methods. ESD's Air Sparging Systems are easily integrated with new or existing Soil Vapor Extraction Systems.
