Complete Chemical Mix/Load & Storage Operation under Canopy

FACILITY HIGHLIGHTS:

• A new covered chemical area was constructed and includes an 8'x12' ESD Chemical Storage Building, ESD Chemical Containment Pad and ESD Chemical Recovery Tank.
• Even the bollards were manufactured by ESD.
• All items constructed of marine-grade aluminum for maximum durability and chemical resistance.
• In addition, the chemical area includes an emergency eye wash / shower and an overhead fill boom.

 

Chemical Containment Systems in New Chemical Mix/Load Building

FACILITY HIGHLIGHTS:

• This heated and enclosed chemical mix/load area in the Midwest includes an ESD Chemical Containment Sump and ESD Chemical Recovery Tank.
• In addition, the chemical area includes an emergency eye wash / shower and a 1 1/2" overhead fill boom.

 

Chemical Containment Pad Recessed in a Cement Slab

FACILITY HIGHLIGHTS:

• An existing building was converted to a chemical mix/load storage area.
• Pallets were added to the inside of the building to accommodate chemicals and some fertilizers. 
• The covered awning was added to cover the ESD imbedded Chemical Containment Pad. 
• An ESD Chemical Recovery Tank was placed inside the chemical storage room.
• In addition, the chemical mix/load area includes a 1 1/2" overhead fill boom.

 

Chemical Containment Pad Placed Outside on a Bed of Rocks

FACILITY HIGHLIGHTS:

• This facility needed to place it's chemical mix/load operation in a temporary area with limited power available.
• The ESD Chemical Containment Pad was set up on a bed of rocks next to a barn that contains stored chemicals.
• A portable air compressor is brought to the chemical pad to run the ESD pneumatic pump, when chemical solution needs to be removed from the chemical pad.
• Later, when a more permanent location is determined, the portable nature of the ESD Chemical Pad will allow it to be moved and placed, and shop air will run the pump.
